■ 湯道(Yumichi)　　
地元の人たちが共同湯（現、河鹿の湯）に通うための道路であったという
昔ながらの山道でございます。
井上靖の「しろばんば」の主人公、洪作少年はさき子おばさんと一緒に幾度も
この道を通ったといわれる趣のある田舎道でございます。
多くの文人達に慕われた湯ヶ島温泉とあって、この地を訪れた小説家、
歌人達を称えて 建てられた文学碑がみられ、
道端に咲く四季折々の花や渓流が湯道の趣を増しています。
男橋・女橋の二つの橋からなる出会い橋周辺では、６月にホタルまつりが行われ、
毎年多くの人手で賑わいます。
カップルやご夫婦は、異なる道を通っての出会い橋の中間地点で
待ちあわせてみるのも素敵な思い出になることでしょう。

■ Yumichi(湯道)　　
A country walk way to hot spring baths in old days. This road is written in 'Shirobanba' by Yasushi Inoue as nostalgic walk way, which the main character, Kousaku, and the aunt Sakiko often walked. As a hot spring resort loved by many great authors and poets, you can find monuments which were built to honor them. Seasonal floors and stream make the way more nostalgic atmosphere. Firefly festival is held in June around 'Deai Bashi(Meeting Bridge)' consisted of two bridges, Male Bridge and Female Bridge and many people visit every year. If you could visit here with your lover, it will be unforgettable memory to meet at the middle point of Deai Bashi through the each bridge.
